I was just thinking on the rumors of the ending of Naruto within the next hundred or so episodes, and it doesnt quite makes sense to me. Reasons being, they are going to have to be chock full of information, battles, and what have you. If it does end around the 500+ range then Im afraid that we might not get a chance to see Naruto as the Hokage. Hmmm…. I just thought of this scenario…

… The last few pages show someone coming out of a darkened corridor and stepping into the light of a sunbathed Konoha. Then someone off screen (block for the manga) hands them the Hokage’s crown (hat/ helmet thing). Then it shows the person handing the crown to be a smiling Sakura, and the wearer to be none other than Naruto.

Cool to think about but that would be a lame ending in my opinion because I know Im not alone in wanting to see what would become of our belove characters after Naruto realizes his dream.

Anyway, I guess the “filler” episodes are okay. I’ll tell you one thing though, I will not be suprised if they end the anime before the Manga. Look at Inuyasha, that was just as popualr wasn’t it? and the episodes ended horribly after 350 or so episodes. The Inuyasha Managa series ended at 500 and something, but it ended properly at least. It would be nice to think they will put the whole manga into the anime; but considering how long the Naruto series is I really do doubt it.
